为了寻找 10 个最佳网站建设工具, 在进行广泛测试之前，我从来没有听说过Jimdo，但是，确实，我应该早点知道它的。Jimdo很有趣，使用也很容易，并拥有大量的国际用户群，小企业和企业家都利用它来创建简单直接的网站。
Jimdo的主要卖点是速度和使用简单-它声称你可以用最少的步骤，快速建立一个外观专业的网站。我发现这是真的，但速度并不是创建一个好网站需要的全部。那么，Jimdo能否以合理的价格提供您所需的灵活性和功能性？

你可以在页面的任何地方添加元素，只需要点击几下即可。你可以选中一个元素，使用样式工具，就可以修改模版的文字和样子。如果你想添加或替换图片，你可以直接从你的电脑里拖放。
在Jimdo的价格页面，他们说只有专业套餐计划及以上的网站是针对移动端优化的。不过在我自己用了Jimdo之后，我发现似乎全部网站都是支持移动端响应的，不管是免费的，还是付费的。
我喜欢的另一个功能是你能以桌面模式，以及手机横屏和竖屏模式预览你的网站。
在使用Creator的拖放功能时，你无法把元素放置在精确的位置，但是你可以很快重定位它们，不会改变页面的整体布局。
Jimdo提供各种对用户非常友好的工具，不过同样也有一些限制。
无论是SEO、电子商务或博客，Jimdo都提供工具帮助你搭建网站和为网站引流。
虽然这些工具都很不错，但都缺少深度功能。对于新手来说很好，或者有经验的用户用来创建简单网站也够用。但如果你要创建大型电子商务网站或者世界级的博客，那么Jimdo就不是一个好选择了。

根据你的回答，Dolphin会在三分钟内为你呈现一个完整的网站设计。
但是，选项非常有限，至少目前为止，你只能创建少数非常限定的商业类型网站，即使你想创建个人网站。
Creator和Dolphin之间有一些重要的差别。
首先，Dolphin的网站编辑器更简单。除了样式、定位和更改元素大小之外，你还可以选择预设置的页面区域、或颜色和字体。
Dolphin现在还不兼容博客，它的电子商务和SEO工具也比Creator更简单。
Dolphin还有自己的定价计划。更多信息参见下文。
如果你想尽快上线一个网站，那么Dolphin适合你。你只需要放弃一些Creator提供的自由和样式上的控制就可以了。

Jimdo在SEO基础的方面做得不错。你可以自定义URL、元描述和页面标题，这不是所有的建站工具都会提供的。
它还会帮助你声称XML站点地图，在谷歌上为网站建立索引，这样你的网站就会在搜索结果中出现了。你也会获得一个好用的统计工具，帮助分析你的网站表现。
Jimdo甚至会帮你在Facebook上推广网站，并提供分析。
真正的明星功能是一些付费计划会免费包含rankingCoach。这是一个高级工具，会为你提供搜索引起优化的反馈，提出改进建议。如果你的计划内不包含rankingCoach，你就需要购买这款附加组件。
如果你想在网上售卖商品，Jimdo提供的解决方案非常快捷。电子商务计划包含全部所需要的你可以全新创建一个商店，或者向已有的网站添加商店。
你可以设置多种支付方式，包括PayPal、Stripe和人工支付方式。没有交易费，也没有销售额限制。如果是无限计划，你可以售卖不限数量的产品。
要注意，Jimdo的电子商务功能如此易用的一部分原因是工具非常简单。没有产品目录、实时发货工具，产品种类非常基础， 而且不支持数字产品（但是这里有变通方法）。
几乎任何人都可以使用Jimdo建站工具搭建和管理网站，但如果你有更多需求，那么它可能显得过于局限。
我的意思是，即使我的祖母也能用Jimdo创建一个网站。
如果使用Dolphin，你能在三分钟内就让你的网站上线。我试过了。确实可行。随后，我决定再多尝试一下，试用Creator。我没花多久就注册好了，用模版建起了一个简单的网站，设置好了一个线上商店。

但是，Jimdo有时会过于简单。除了有限的设计选项，它甚至没有“保存草稿”的功能。你做的任何变动都会立即在网站上生效。
而积极方面的话，我必须提及它的移动应用程序非常棒，你可以在手机或平板上管理和创建网站。
在你登录后，你立即就可以编辑你的网站，查看全部网站，预览网站，或是管理账号设置、联系支持人员：
我不喜欢仪表板顶端巨大的促销模块。我想把它移个位置，放着网站面板的下方。
如果你点击切换网站，你会看到它们变成了彩色的，Creator网站是紫色的，Dolphin网站是绿色的。在这里升级、编辑或删除网站很方便。
虽然Jimdo没有应用程序商店，并且能给页面添加的元素类型也很有限，但依然有一些很有用的小部件，比如表格、音乐播放器、Facebook方框和Twitter关注按钮。
Jimdo也允许添加其它外部小部件或应用程序，例如使用自定义代码添加日历。
不过等等！你其实不知道怎样写代码。你真正需要做的只是将小部件元素添加到页面中，粘贴嵌入代码。然后你就可以移动它，或者像其它元素一样放大缩小。老实说，我不知道我祖母会不会这个，但估计你应该没问题。
Jimdo只提供工单支持，你可能需要等一会儿才能收到回复。
Jimdo只通过知识库和电子邮件/工单系统提供客户支持。对于Creator，他们不保证回复和时效。而对于Dolphin，绝大多数套餐计划的回复时效是1-2个工作日，但无限套餐计划是一个小时内。
如果你是Jimdo新用户，你会发现知识库很有用，里面有很多步骤分解教程。
但是，实际的支持服务就目前来看……好吧，不要期待太高。我开始是免费用户，在那段时间里，我只得到过一次回复。我理解公司将付费用户放在优先位置，但承诺支持却实际完全不提供，这一点非常让人沮丧。
当你成为付费客户之后，你得到的服务质量就大幅提升了。我购买了商业套餐计划，通常在一两个小时内就收到了回复（在工作时间）。
在开始的几次询问中，有一次我联系支持人员确认我是否会获得一个免费的电子邮件账户，以及我能否在Dolphin网站和Creator网站之间切换。支持人员非常礼貌，回答了我的两个问题，这在当今的市场上已经不是理所当然一定会得到的服务了。
如果你在非工作时间给支持人员发电子邮件，回复可能不会很快。我在周六问过一个问题，但下周一才得到答复：

在购买Jimdo套餐计划之前，一定要认真阅读小字部分内容，弄清楚套餐内包含的内容。如果你发现列出了某个功能，那就意味着购买后会获得。
在定价方面，之前的易用性就都消失不见了。他们似乎致力于把事情弄得尽可能的复杂。
首先你要明确一点，Jimdo Creator和Jimdo Dolphin的套餐计划定价不一样。这背后有什么道理吗？我不清楚。
其次你需要知道，你在Jimdo的网站上默认只会看到Creator的套餐计划定价。如果你选择用Dolphin创建网站，价格会变化。
一旦你开始创建网站了，就不能在Creator和Dolphin之间再切换，也就是说你在开工之前无处比较所有的套餐计划。也许这就是背后的逻辑？你可能也会和我一样想。
每种都有一个免费计划和4个付费计划。价格和绝大多数建站工具非常接近，不过我依然认为Jimdo是最便宜的之一。
这固然好，但是Jimdo同样也是极少数会限制网站的页面数的建站工具之一。如果选择免费计划，你只能创建5个页面。即使是付费计划，你也只能创建10-50个页面。只有无限计划例外，创建的页面数不受限制，但它完全算不上便宜。
如果使用免费计划，你不能关联自己的域名，Jimdo会在你的网站上投放广告。你确实会获得一个SSL证书，也能获得低优先级的支持服务（只是你基本上不会得到回复）。
不过既然能使用建站工具的全部功能，免费计划是试用Jimdo的不错方式，然后你可以知道自己是否喜欢。你可以创建非常简单的博客、个人网站或小型网上商店（支持PayPal，可以上架五个商品）。升级至付费计划非常容易。
付费计划提供更多存储空间和带宽、一个免费的域名以及优先的支持服务。你还会获得更多SEO工具。不过要注意，免费域名仅在第一年有效，随后你需要每年支付费用。
Jimdo实行14天无理由退款政策。你只需要提交一个工单，要求注销账户，随后的事情交给Jimdo就可以了。

Jimdo is a scam. They use Pair Finance to come after you and ask you to pay for subscriptions you’ve never used. I canceled mine in 2021 after the new subscription almost doubled. I decided to don’t renew it and now they ask me for cancellation proofs otherwise a 214€ fine. The page was deleted nearly 2 years ago, of course, I can’t prove I canceled it when the page doesn’t even exist anymore. I tried to talk to them and ask how I got into this situation and why there are so many people in the same situation as I am. None of my questions was answered, they keep insisting I have to address these questions to Pair Finance. Guess what? Pair Finance didn’t clarify anything, only sent me an invoice and urged me to pay. Stay away from Jimdo, you might end up paying money for a service you’ve never used like many others !!!
Jimdo is definitely not the ideal option. Created an account in 2020(a paid subscription) and one year later the subscription doubled so I canceled it. I registered 2 emails with Jimdo, the main one which was the email I created specifically for my website and a second one- my personal one. After cancellation I stopped using the main one. I canceled the subscription in June 2021 and in December 2022(1,5 years later) I received a letter from Pair Finance asking me to pay for my last year subscription which I canceled it more than 200€. Note that I didn’t use the website all this time, is not even there, was blocked after I canceled my subscription. Went on Jimdo website to check if I made a mistake and really haven’t canceled it, but there’s no cancellation button, no way of contacting any support and no help regarding this problem. I went to my old email to check if I got any emails from them. I got my first payment reminder on 8 June 2021 and a second one on 28 June 2021. No additional email on my personal email(the second one listed ). I still don’t know how to “cancel my subscription “ so I guess I’ll have to pay for this year as well. Don’t recall signing up for a life-time subscription. Be careful with Jimdo!
I really like Jimdo, but I didn't know, that once you cancel a website it is free for all. I used my website, which had my full name. com to display my artwork. Now I find that this website has pornographic content with my full name plus my email address. I still have Jimdo free websites to display my art, but I am so very upset that my name has been blackened. I would give 5 stars, but after what happened to me I can not do that.
Simply put, Jimdo is disappointing. The website-builder feels outdated and is quite difficult to use. As a small business owner, being able to put together a simple website should be one of the easier parts of running my business. Jimdo is clearly not for individuals or businesses who are not able to design their own websites using HTML or CSS. For the sake of the person who took the time to read this review, STAY AWAY FROM JIMDO!
There's always room for improvement but Jimdo simply works. It's the most robust website builder I've found and I've explored about thirty alternatives including some of the big names. You can actually build a very sophisticated site with the cheaper of the pro packages they offer, upgrade anytime if you require even more bells and whistles and the learning curve isn't too steep. They have servers on three continents and sites load extremely fast. Their online store options, included in each package, are powerful and include linkable product view sliders and numerous appearance/layout options. Jimdo templates are extremely flexible and a joy to work with. You can build anything from a few pages and a blog at pro level, to a massive site streaming thousands of videos with their business offering, as bandwidth and storage are both unlimited. SEO tools are included and of course you can add as many external widgets as you like with full the built-in html editor. They even have a mobile app. If you like to edit on the move and all their templates are responsive and resize beautifully on all devices - except toasters :) What's not to like!
We have loved the ease of use and beauty of customer service from Jimdo for years. But with their recent unwillingness to work with google for us, we view them with suspicion. Google has website providers who routinely work with website hosters for getting the clients good email addresses. Jimdo instead of working with google attacked us, and that is unacceptable. We are hugely disappointed in Jimdo and will be working on moving our website to another host provider asap. The ease of use of an email is critical to a business; Jimdo seems to have something to hide from google given all the work they went into trying to attack us for doing so. Wow, we are hugely sad at jimdo. If they think google is a competitor, they are not. If they want to battle google, they may as well battle the universe. We as a business who uses google's tools can't have a provider who battles google. Can anyone truthfully?
BTW, google gave us two phone numbers for jimdo to call them so google could help them with the process and coding. Instead jimdo turned on us as a client, ignored us/pretended to escalate during a chat but hung up on us, and had a senior manager email us his disapproval when we became mad. All we wanted was help to get a good google email. Instead our web host provider jimdo ignored us, hung up on us, attacked us. Not the best choice if you are a start up. We'll ask google who to go to now, someone who at least can work with them.
A great way to launch your storefront. Simple to use and easy to customize. Very search engine friendly and installing new plugins is a snap.
Jimdo was my first experience with a website builder tool and I must say, it was an excellent start into this area. I decided for Jimdo based upon it's shop features and it's ease of use. I wanted something that would take me a minimum amount of time to build and manage... and that I HAVE :)
On the down side, in order to build a "multi-language" site, you'll be forced to use the "menu structure"... considering that there isn't a huge choice of templates this really limits you in the possible looks the moment you want to build a multi-language site.
For the Shop, I think it's great, easy, there is a good tracking and order process system, on the other hand the templates... again down allow you to make the best possible use of this shop unless you use a bit of imagination to make it CLEAR that there is a shopping cart on your site ;)
In this review it also mentions that the shop is it's best feature... I have to say, I may not have found all the "options" or "features" but I don't think they are extraordinary and would be surprised if others are less?! But like said, I have not tried many others to date.
