Used to be great, now seems to not have enough staff and always err on the side of the freelancer

I used to LOVE PPH. Had high quality people and I found great, conscientious people to work on quick projects. Not anymore. PPH does not seem to have enough staff so if you have an issue, you get an email that says "we don't have time to deal with you right now we'll get to it." Then as you're waiting, if they get to it, and you don't respond right away, they let your money go to the freelancer! I have one that I've been protesting for months that did NO WORK and of course they're so unprofessional they won't refund the money and PPH automatically just paid them. Now, I have a freelancer who disappeared, didn't answer for days, and I'm trying to cancel the job. Again, they don't have time to deal with it. Then they send a computer answer and say he'll be paid. He DIDN'T do anything!! Still trying to cancel the job! If things go well you're in good shape but if they don't it's a fight and the customer service is terrible.

I was scammed

Client that I worked for did chargeback and PPH said they cant pay me my earning because client did chargeback. I never had such experience with other freelancing site Freelancer works here with hope of earning - not being scammed. Big sites like PPH must have legal teams and fianacial tie ups to cover all such problems. I has worst un-expected loss experience with PPH

Poor all round

Creators are ripped off with extortionate percentage of fees. They also make it very difficult to claim your money. Support are rude and unhelpful. There is zero quality control of the job adverts, which often give no clear idea of the actual work required.

Yes. You are right PeoplePerHour.com scam freelancer earning. Without Issue and warning 200 Pound Scam my freelancing Earning. My Account was deactivated without issue. People per hour is nationality biased

People per hour will not allow Pakistani nationals to create account, usually it automatically reject application within an hour while saying "after careful review". If you are Pakistani national then simple avoid people per hour and do not waste time asking for an account
