Formerly known as KunstSite, NemmeHjemmesider is a Danish website building tool that used to be geared toward artists only. Today, it caters to everyone’s needs and hobbies from the casual blogger to businesses.
The website is clean, informative, and easy to browse. However, it’s entirely in Danish and all prices are in Danish krones. The website builder interface is also in Danish.
Features and Ease of Use
Even though NemmeHjemmesider isn’t a drag-and-drop website builder and the editor’s interface is in Danish, I used my browser’s translation tool to create a website for free, and found the editor to be very responsive and easy to use. Just point and click to edit, add, or remove unlimited pages and content. No technical wizardry or HTML programming is required at all.
NemmeHjemmesider is also compatible with mobile devices. When you build your website, the system will automatically make the necessary adjustments to fit different mobile screens, giving your customers a smooth browsing experience on any device.
NemmeHjemmesider covers the essential basics including SSL/HTTPs certificate, custom email and domain name, media gallery (photos, wallpapers, MP3 player, slideshows, and videos) and content.
You can add more elements to connect with your customers such as Google Maps, PDF documents, contact forms, and newsletters.
With NemmeHjemmesider, you’ll be able to create a blog or launch an online store using nemShop to sell your goods online. With nemShop, you can create items without limitations, manage your inventory, create automatic invoicing, and receive payments via different payment systems (e.g., credit cards, PayPal, or bank transfers).
Pricing and Support
NemmeHjemmesider offers one free plan and two paid packages – Pro and WebShop. The free package comes with a custom domain, newsletter, ability to insert videos from YouTube and Vimeo, unlimited pages, images, and documents, plus support (live chat, mail, and phone).
With the Pro package, you get a custom domain name, five personal email addresses, HTTPs certificate, website statistics, no lock-in period, and no notice period. The WebShop plan includes additional features such as unlimited orders, unlimited items, automatic order management, automatic inventory management, Google Analytics, and more.
With paid subscriptions, you can opt for quarterly or annual billing, and there’s also a 14-day money-back guarantee included.
There’s a decent FAQ section on the website that contains several tutorials and answers to most common questions. If you want to contact the customer support team, you can do so through phone or email.
