Biggo Review 2024 – Is it Worth Trying?

Sandra Tanoto Written by: Sandra Tanoto

Biggo aims to minimize the frustration stemming from the installation and maintenance of a website, by presenting users with a fully installed and pre-configured CMS (Content Management System) hosted and managed on their servers.

Overview

To compare the best website builders on ease of use, templates, customer service, and value for money, we tried to build the same site on each platform. Check out the results here.

The first thing you see when you get to Biggo’s front page is that they have three primary options for creating websites: a simple business card site, a slightly more complex corporate website, and an e-commerce site. Biggo aims to minimize the frustration stemming from the installation and maintenance of a website, by presenting users with a fully installed and pre-configured CMS (Content Management System) hosted and managed on their servers. In other words, rather than having to find the best host, register a domain, decide on a suitable CMS, and then study the documentation to figure out how to configure and maintain it, Biggo does pretty much everything for you. This makes setting up your website or online store a much simpler affair. Setup can be completed in a matter of minutes, with step-by-step guides available in Biggo’s Reference section.

Biggo’s most affordable option is the simple business card site, which comes with one custom domain e-mail, a database of stock photos, a photo gallery creator, and one gig of space – more than enough to display your basic corporate information. Moving on, we have the corporate plan that offers more advanced features such as a blog and news section, FTP access, and 10 email accounts. Additionally, there’s the online store plan which includes convenient 1-click purchasing options, product comparison tools, SMS notifications, and secure checkout and payment integration.

If you’re not sure Biggo is right for you, read our rundown of the best website builders to learn about better options.
