Bandzoogle was founded by a musician as a website building tool for other artists. Unlike most website builders, Bandzoogle doesn’t have a physical office location. Instead, it’s a virtual office operated by a team located all over the world. However, the majority of the team is based in Canada and the company falls under the jurisdiction of both the Canadian and US laws.
The Bandzoogle website has a trendy layout and design and it’s entirely in English. The interface of the builder, however, is available in English, Spanish, German, and French. All prices are displayed in US dollars.
Features and Ease of Use
It all starts with a simple registration process and choosing from among 100+ themes and templates for your website. Bear in mind that you can go back and change the theme at any time. After that, you can edit everything using Bandzoogle’s user-friendly toolkit with a simple drag-and-drop.
Through Bandzoogle’s builder, you can easily customize your layout, fonts, and colors without any coding knowledge.
All the themes and templates are mobile responsive. They automatically adjust to be displayed perfectly on any device including mobiles, tablets, and laptops.
Not only can you integrate your website with all social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.), but you can also integrate other useful services such as PayPal, SoundCloud, DropBox, and many more.
From within your website, you can launch your digital music store for all your tracks and albums, in addition to an online store for all your band’s merchandise.
Manage all your live events (concerts, tours, etc.) with the built-in calendar and ticket sales system.
The website can be open for fans to subscribe. Through the subscriptions you can earn money and build a fan base right within your website.
Promote your band through mailing lists and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tools.
All plans come with a free custom domain and web hosting. In other words, Bandzoogle is an all-in-one service to build and launch your band’s website with minimal effort and time.
Pricing and Support
Before diving into any of the plans offered by Bandzoogle, you can try out the service fully for free for 30 days.
The free trial comes with all the features as the paid plans. Once the trial period ends, If you don’t upgrade to one of the paid plans, your website will be taken offline. All your website data will be stored on Bandzoogle’s servers for three years before it’s deleted.
Bandzoogle offers three paid plans: Lite, Standard, and Pro. The main difference among them is the number of pages, tracks, and photos available with the plan. With the Pro plan, you can create unlimited pages, add unlimited tracks, and upload unlimited photos.
Bandzoogle’s prices are quite reasonable considering the features included in its plans.
The Bandzoogle website is quite informative and has an extensive Knowledgebase, a blog, and an FAQ section. However, if you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can always contact customer support through live chat or email.
Unfortunately, support is not available 24/7. You can only reach them during the day. On the bright side, I managed to get in touch with one of the live chat agents who answered all my questions and provided helpful assistance.
