Features and Ease of Use
Yahmis’ shared hosting services are grouped into Linux, Windows, and Cloud plans. Some of the features you can expect to find are:
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Free SSL certificate
- 10 GB to unlimited disk space
- 30 GB to unlimited bandwidth
The “Cheapest”, “Standard”, and “Professional” Linux hosting plans are suitable for websites programmed with PHP. The popular cPanel control panel incorporates the equally-popular Softaculous installer.
The “Basic”, “Advanced”, and “Professional” Windows hosting plans provide unlimited disk space and bandwidth. You still get a one-click installer, but it’s accessible from the Plesk control panel rather than from cPanel.
The Cloud hosting plans provide even more features and resources, including eight CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, and unlimited add-on domains. Once again, you get the cPanel + Softaculous combo, and you can install a range of CMS and other applications.
The custom-built WordPress hosting plans provide templates and plugins plus the features of the other plans, and all plans provide spam and virus protection, password-protected directories, DDoS protection, and IP blocking.
Yahmis uses SSD storage in a RAID 1 configuration for performance, reliability, and protection against potential disk data disasters.
Pricing and Support
Our Linux and Windows hosting plans offer hosting solutions at half the price of the cloud equivalents, while even our WordPress plans come at a lower cost than the cloud plans. We understand that cloud computing might seem expensive, but we assure you that it is definitely worth the investment.
You can pay by PayPal, Bitcoin, internet banking, credit/debit card, or Skrill, on billing cycles from monthly to biennial. But there is no money-back guarantee, as far as I know.
Support doesn’t seem to be Yahmis’ strongest suit. While you should be able to summon assistance via telephone or live chat, I couldn’t get any answers via either channel. It wouldn’t be so bad if there were decent self-support resources, but you don’t get much beyond a basic set of frequently asked questions for each service.
