  • Windows operating system

In all its hosting packages, vGRID deploys HPE 3PAR StoreServ and HPE Synergy technologies. The firm also applies VMware virtualization technology for improved performance and enhanced stability of its hosting packages.

Its servers run on Windows Server 2016 operating system. The firm’s virtual servers hosting package comes with single CPU, 2GB RAM, and 50GB HDD on Silver Tier.

The hosting provider offers managed backup services to its clients. Its backup services are carried out in two plans. In the basic plan, it performs daily backups including Backups and Replication using Veeam technology. It applies on-site retention policies that enable the user to restore data from any daily backup for up to 14 days.

In the premium plan, the firm takes a separate backup of its client’s virtual server on a weekly basis. The data is stored safely for 12 weeks in an offsite vault (LTO Tape Media). Its offsite backups on a weekly basis are performed on Friday after 10:00 PM and before Monday at 8:00 AM (NZST).
