Istanbul-based Venois Hosting has been offering web hosting, design, software, and consultancy since 2005. This hosting provider is a RIPE NCC (regional internet registry) member, and it became an OpenStack Foundation member in June 2013.
Venois Hosting’s website supports English, German and Turkish languages, and should soon also be available in Spanish, Russian, and French.
Features and Ease of Use
For personal users, Venois Hosting offers three Linux shared hosting plans. For your corporate website, you can choose one of the three business hosting plans. The personal and business plans come with the cPanel control panel for easy website management, and weekly backups for data security.
With the personal plans, you get 1-3 GB web space and 10-30 GB bandwidth, plus 3-10 email accounts and 1-5 MySQL databases. With the business plans, you get 5-12 GB web space and 50-150 GB bandwidth, plus 25-unlimited email accounts and 10-unlimited MySQL databases. You can switch to a different hosting plan anytime by merely paying the price difference.
The LiteSpeed Web Server assures you super-fast performance, and the CloudLinux operating system ensures that server resources are shared equally among hosted users.
In addition to the shared hosting plans, Venois Hosting also offers WordPress, e-commerce, cloud site, and colocation plans along with SSD-based VPS and VDS plans. Also, SSL certificate packages. The three e-commerce hosting plans come with a free IP address and SSL certificate, and they offer 10-25 GB web space, 50-200 GB bandwidth, and 25-unlimited email accounts.
This host uses state-of-the-art Dell PowerEdge servers and SSD drives for improved performance. And it offers a minimum of 99.99% uptime.
Pricing and Support
Venois Hosting’s shared hosting plans are cheap, even with 18% VAT added, and you can pay for them using PayPal, Bitcoin, or bank transfer.
All plans are payable annually. There is a 15-day refund policy that sounds promising, but it excludes certain products and services, and I couldn’t confirm with customer services exactly which ones. Although there is no official free trial period, customer services indicated to me that they could provide a trial account with 15 days of free hosting.
You can contact the company’s customer support team via telephone, ticket (after logging in), email, or online form. I received a response within an hour of sending an exploratory email:
Venois Hosting’s knowledge base has only 25 articles, and it doesn’t translate well into English.
