Underground Private is a web hosting company that’s based in Belize. It was founded in 2012 and has grown to support numerous customers. Its servers are housed in data centers that are located in Russia, the Netherlands, and France. The company’s web page is available in English only.
Features and Ease of Use
Housed in its Netherlands data center, the shared hosting plans come with resources that are suitable for medium-sized business websites. These are some of the features:

One plus of hosting with Underground Private is privacy. Like most other offshore web hosting providers, you get privacy, plus a few other benefits and in this one’s case, it is DMCA ignore.
This is for those who want to produce or share information that’s backed by copyright. Usually, if your web hosting provider is contacted, you’ll be given a take-down notice. Some hosting providers will follow through by either taking down the content or your website if you don’t comply. This one will ignore the notice and content.
CloudLinux runs on shared hosting servers. The benefits include better security and virtualization so that no customer overuses server resources and overloads the server, thus affecting other customers. Here, everyone is in their own area – much like VPS, but a lightweight version.
All plans come with cPanel for easy management. Underground Private also provides the Softaculous plugin so that customers can easily install applications like WordPress in a few clicks without prior knowledge of manual installation.
The storage is solid-state disks. They are way better than HDD for performance. That’s coupled with a 1Gbps port, which means that you can process more requests at a time. Be aware, though, that the port is shared with the other customers on the server.
There’s no provisioning for automatic backups, so you have to take your own backups. However, Underground Private provides RAID 1 mirroring for data reliability, so if anything was to happen to your main drive, your data is still available from the mirrored drive.
Pricing and Support
Underground Private doesn’t give you the cheapest shared hosting prices, especially when compared to American companies. But hey, compared to other offshore companies, it’s actually quite low priced.
There are no free incentives here – no free trial, no free version, no free domain, and no free SSL. The subscription periods are one month, six months, and twelve months. If you’re willing to pay for 12 months, you’ll get about a 20% discount (as of writing this review).
There’s no guarantee of uptime, so if you don’t have a decent uptime or are dissatisfied for any other reason, you can get a refund on unused funds. Unfortunately, there’s no full money-back guarantee.
Customer support is available through email, Skype, phone, and ticketing system. There is a knowledge base section, but it has only one tutorial and it’s on WordPress, which is not enough. I needed more information on some features, so I sent an email and got a reply the next day.

Which Underground Private plan should I get?
My recommendation is to start with a cheaper plan. You can always upgrade later on. Underground Private can help you with the migration to a more expensive plan. The increase in visitors many times takes longer than expected and you shouldn’t pay a lot of money until the need arises.
