Tservers4 was founded in 2014. It’s a subsidiary of Trendconnect Integrated Service, an ICT company that has been in business since 2010. Tservers4 is based in Nigeria, but its servers are located in Europe and the United States. Over the past years, it has been able to satisfy over 400 customers with 250 registered domains and 300 hosted websites.
Features and Ease of Use
Tservers4 offers shared hosting and reseller hosting. Its shared hosting is suitable for simple starter websites and small businesses. These are some of the features of its shared hosting plans:
- Free SSL certificates
- Anywhere from 1GB to 10GB storage
- Between two to four add-on domains
- Up to 70GB bandwidth
The company secures its customers through BitNinja, a security software that protects servers from attacks; it works so that if another server is attacked, your server is immediately protected against the malicious IP that caused the attack. There are other nice features, as well.
Furthermore, there is CageFS, which is a system that separates each user into a light-weight virtualized container or as it calls it, a cage, which offers added security benefits.
Tservers4 supports PHP and has a version selector so that you can use the version that you want. If you don’t know how to code, you can design your website using the Sitepad website builder. Otherwise, you can install WordPress with the Softaculous app installer that’s provided in the cPanel in a few minutes and clicks.
Another feature that you might like is SEO tools that you can utilize to optimize your website. Plus, there’s Gzip compression provided, which when used, reduces the size of the website by a large percent and ultimately reduces load time.
Pricing and Support
If you’re looking for really low-cost hosting, Tservers4 will serve you well. Its prices are affordable for those on a low budget. However, some of the plans don’t have monthly subscription on offer, though others do.
We also offer a free trial plan, although it’s only valid for three days and comes with certain limitations. For instance, it provides 50MB of storage, which might not suffice for the majority of WordPress websites. However, it is adequate for a basic HTML website.
Another free perk from this company is free domain registration. I noticed this at checkout; if you choose one year, your domain cost is offset. Also, there’s free migration if you’re looking to transfer from your current provider.
One downside, though, is that it has a five-minute provisioning time. It promises five minutes or less. Most companies have software in place that provisions the hosting account within seconds after you pay. For payment methods, it uses Mobile/Internet/USSD transfer (Nigeria), Paystack, MTN Mobile Money (Ghanaian Only), and Rave by Flutterwave. There is no money-back guarantee.
Customer support is available through the knowledge base, email, phone, and WhatsApp. I sent an email, but I never got a reply.
