SERV.LT, not to be confused with Serveris.lt, or Serveriai.lt, is a one-man project that started operations in early 2006. Based in Lithuania, the web hosting company has been offering shared web hosting, VPS for businesses, and dedicated servers, serving companies in the Lithuanian market and beyond. The SERV.LT website is available in two languages: Russian and Lithuanian.

All SERV.LT website accounts are powered by servers hosted in data centers located in Lithuania and France. The data centers hold extremely fast servers with up to 100MB test files and SSD storage systems. This way, the vendor can guarantee blazing fast website loading speeds of its customers’ websites, up to 20 times faster than websites hosted on the traditional HDD storage servers.
Its shared web hosting solutions are divided into four packages: Plan S, Plan M, Plan L, and Plan XL. Plan S is the starter shared web hosting plan and comes with a disk capacity of 2GB and can only host a maximum of two websites. Plan XL seems like the most advanced plan and it includes a disk capacity of 25GB. Also, it can support up to 25 websites.
At all account levels, customers get access to use the versatile and easy-to-manage DirectAdmin remote console. Moreover, the plans come with free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates as well as support for common CMS.
By default, the plans include daily data backups with up to four-week storage to protect its customers’ website data and system files from loss in the event of a disaster.
Pricing and Support
The starter plans at SERV.LT are cheaply priced but as you proceed to the advanced plans, the solutions can become unreasonably expensive, especially given that they don’t have much to offer. In addition, the hosting plans start with a minimum contract of three months. Other billing cycles include semi-annual, annual, and biennial subscriptions. Prices are listed in euros and U.S. dollars.
With SERV.LT web hosting services, users experience an uptime guarantee of up to 99.8%. This is quite unfortunate since it falls short of the industry-standard uptime guarantee of 99.9%. None of this vendor’s hosting solutions provide a refund policy.
The support service desk is available via several channels: telephone, email, and ticketing system. That said, the hosting firm does not appear to have live chat support. The email query I sent this vendor’s support team remained unanswered.
The SERV.LT website offers a limited knowledge base with only about 10-20 articles available.
