RISE PK is a small web hosting company based in Pakistan. This vendor markets itself as an affordable and reliable hosting provider for small Pakistani businesses, and it promises to help you “Rise Your Business With Rising Pakistan.” It offers shared web hosting, reseller hosting, web design, search engine optimization, and WordPress and Joomla installation.
RISE PK’s website is in English but it doesn’t seem to work well with all browsers. Chrome reports the website as being insecure (no HTTPS), and it apparently hasn’t been updated since 2013, so I can’t rule out the possibility that this provider is no longer in business.
Features and Ease of Use
RISE PK’s shared and reseller web hosting solutions include the following standard features:
- Linux and Windows hosting
- Free domain
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- PHP5 support
- Cron jobs
- phpMyAdmin
- Softaculous one-click installer
- cPanel backup/restore
- SiteBuilder
RISE PK offers Linux Hosting and Windows Hosting.
There are four Linux Hosting plans: Starter, Basic Plus, Premium, and Expert. The basic Starter plan comes with 300 MB disk space, 3 GB monthly traffic, 5 email accounts, and 2 databases. The most advanced Expert plan includes 10 GB disk space, 100 GB monthly traffic, unlimited email accounts, and unlimited databases.
There are three Windows Hosting plans: Starter, Basic Plus, and Premium. All these plans come with 80+ pre-installed scripts, MSSQL backup/restore, online file manager, and support for 64Bit Windows 2008 R2 server.
RISK PK does not offer SSL certificates, and its own website is reported by Chrome as being insecure. And although this vendor offers backup and restore services, these are mentioned only in passing, so I can offer no additional information about how and when the backups are performed.
Pricing and Support
RISE PK’s hosting plans are quite affordably priced in Pakistani rupees and U.S. dollars. Unfortunately, the “order now” buttons on the website don’t work, which adds further fuel to the theory that this hosting vendor is no longer operational.
Given what I just said, the fact that there is no free trial and no money-back guarantee on offer might not matter. And the 99.9% uptime guarantee might be a moot point if this provider’s services are not running at all.
RISE PK does not provide any self-support resources, but you can reach out to their support team by email. However, it’s worth mentioning that my exploratory email received no response, which might not come as a surprise.
