Features and Ease of Use
RealifeHost has four shared hosting plans called Basic, Personal, Silver, and Advanced. With these plans, users will enjoy the following:
- From 4GB to 200GB disk space
- From 10GB to 200GB bandwidth
- Up to 10 add-on domains
Speed is an essential feature for hosting; a slow and unsecured website will only lead to loss of potential customers. RealifeHost covers both angles by using the Litespeed web server to deliver website content. Litespeed’s delivery speed is known to be way faster than the speed of an Apache and Nginx mix. It also provides a high level of security with its built-in anti-DDoS feature.
Furthermore, RealifeHost offers DDoS protection on top of what comes with LiteSpeed, and SpamGuard anti-spam protection on all its plans.
RealifeHost offers users the Linux-based cPanel. It is useful for setting up email accounts, monitoring website’s statistics, and configuring your account. Learning how to use cPanel is not difficult at all, even for first-time users. Its interface will enable you navigate it easily.
Also, it provides Softaculous. Through Softaculous, web-based applications like WordPress can be installed to enable you to run a blog without having to design a website. Aside from WordPress, you can also install Drupal and Prestashop among others.
Besides shared hosting, RealifeHost doesn’t offer any other web hosting services. When clients outgrow its shared platform, its servers will no longer be able to accommodate them and they will have to migrate to another hosting provider.
Pricing and Support
With each of its plans, RealifeHost offers good prices. The only downside is its billing cycle, which is annual only. This makes its prices seem expensive since you will have to pay a yearly fee all at once.
This hosting provider does not provide free domain registration, so you will need to make a payment for it. The billing methods it employs encompass Gladepay, bank transfer, and Paystack. Clients retain the option to initiate a refund request within 30 days of subscribing to any plan, and the provider will reimburse them accordingly.
RealifeHost offers WhatsApp contact, live chat, phone number, email address, and contact form as support to its clients. I emailed support to clarify a few presale issues, but I never got a reply. There is a knowledge base, though, so clients can find some answers on their own.
