Ömürtech started out in September 2010 to offer solutions to many of the problems faced by the Turkish hosting sector. It was one of the first Turkish hosts to use SSD technology.
Today, Ömürtech offers shared web hosting, reseller hosting, colocation, cloud servers, and dedicated servers, plus domain registration and transfer, SSL certificates, e-commerce solutions, web design, software licensing, and I.T. consultancy.
Ömürtech’s website supports the Turkish language, and it tells us that, to date, this host has handled 11,000 support requests for more than 2,000 “happy” customers.

Ömürtech offers four Linux shared hosting plans, four Linux reseller hosting plans, three server colocation plans, multiple cloud servers, and ten dedicated servers (which were all sold out apart from one).

The hosting plans are compatible with WordPress and other CMS systems and applications such as OpenCart and vBulletin.
Hosted websites sit on CloudLinux with CageFS, which isolates you from the adverse effects of other hosted users. From a performance perspective, the HTTP offload feature ensures high performance by decreasing HTTP and HTTPS requests, and the SSD storage is far faster (and more reliable) than traditional HDD storage. The upgradeable CPU power also allows you to improve performance.
It’s a pity that Ömürtech’s 98.8% guaranteed uptime is lower than the industry average.
The company offers virtualization on SSDs to anyone [looking for][virtualization on SSDs]. You can call on our cloud servers, which provide a choice of operating systems and super-fast resource upgrades. Alternatively, you can opt for our dedicated servers that utilize VMware ESXi software for high-performance virtualization.
Pricing and Support
Ömürtech’s shared hosting plans are dirt-cheap, and a free domain name is mentioned (but with no additional details).
You can pay for plans in Turkish lira by bank transfer or credit card on annual, biennial, or triennial billing cycles. You get a long-term discount only on the “Unlimited” plan that also allows monthly billing. According to the service agreement, you can only get a refund if Ömürtech cancels your service.

If you have to resort to self-support, you’ll be disappointed to discover that the self-support knowledgebase contains only seven entries.
