Based in the US, Nixiweb offers free web hosting for Spanish users. The website (which is entirely in Spanish) is extremely limited in information and most links lead to their blog page. This is actually one of the reasons why I, a security-conscious user, don’t recommend free web hosting providers, especially those which don’t give out information about their company profile.
Features and Ease of Use
There isn’t much to say about Nixiweb’s web hosting features due to the lack of important information on the website. So, here’s what I found:
Nixiweb doesn’t allow ads on your website, but they do show ads on the website and in their control panel. Nixiweb offers free PHP hosting on cloud servers with the following key features:
- 99.9% uptime
- Cloud technology
- nixiPanel control panel
- Unlimited disk space
- Full MySQL support
- Support for WordPress, phpBB, and Joomla!
Like with most free web hosting services, you get barely enough resources and features to have a fully functional website. Nixiweb provides the basics, but you do get unlimited disk space and support for MySQL databases, along with a handful of CMS installers, including WordPress and Joomla.
The company also claims to provide the standard 99.9% uptime, but there’s no guarantee that they live up it.
I didn’t expect to see popular control panels provided such as cPanel or Plesk. However, Nixiweb offers its own developed in-house control panel, nixiPanel. Again, no useful information about this control panel is provided on the website.
While this might work for newbies or small, personal blogs, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hosting provider to advanced users, as I can’t help but feel suspicious about it.

Pricing and Support
Nixiweb’s offerings are limited to its free PHP hosting service, and it does not provide any paid subscriptions or additional services. Consequently, there is no pricing structure or billing cycles to examine. In simpler terms, there isn’t much to elaborate on in this regard.
One of Nixiweb’s major downsides is that I couldn’t even find a link on the website to be able to sign up for its free PHP hosting service. It’s no surprise that I was left with tons of unanswered questions.
The website doesn’t even have a knowledge base section. There’s only a simple blog that contains generic information about web hosting. That said, I tried to get in touch with Nixiweb’s customer support.
You can contact customer support through phone, email, or a contact form. The website states that customer support is available 24/7. I tried both the email and contact form options. Unfortunately, more than 24 hours have passed and still no answer. Another reason not to trust any free web hosting service, right?
