Misterhost.NET is a relatively new Austrian web hosting provider that was founded in 2013 by Zoti Media Group. It specializes in shared hosting, reseller hosting, and domain registration. It also offers VPS solutions, which are “out of stock” at the time of writing.
This vendor’s modern website is in English.
Features and Ease of Use
Misterhost.NET offers two types of shared hosting – Unlimited Hosting (for personal use) and Business Hosting – which share many of the same features, including:
- Free SSL certificates
- Free domain
- Unlimited SSD storage
- Unlimited bandwidth
- cPanel
- DDoS protection
- Malware protection
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
All shared hosting plans come with CloudFlare CDN to enhance your website’s availability, security, and overall performance. It can easily be activated with a single click. You can also create a backup schedule via the control panel.
They offer two types of hosting, and both have three levels: Basic, Classic, and Premium. The key distinction between these levels is the number of websites you can host. The Premium plan allows you to host an unlimited number of websites.
Pricing and Support
This provider’s hosting prices are pretty low for the features on offer. You can choose a billing cycle from monthly to triennial, and first-time customers get a 30-day money-back guarantee to mitigate the commitment risk. You can pay using PayPal or a credit card.
Unfortunately, this vendor falters when it comes to support. No knowledge base is evident unless you have to log in to access it, although there are a few FAQs and video tutorials. You can supposedly access one-to-one support via telephone, live chat, or online form (for pre-sales). Unfortunately, my contact form submission received no response, and no agents connected up to my out-of-hours live chat.
How much does Misterhost.NET cost?
Misterhost.NET offers plans from $2 to $20. The price depends on which type of hosting plan you choose. You can see the updated pricing table (updated weekly) below.
Which Misterhost.NET plan should I get?
My recommendation is to start with a cheaper plan. You can always upgrade later on. Misterhost.NET can help you with the migration to a more expensive plan. The increase in visitors many times takes longer than expected and you shouldn’t pay a lot of money until the need arises. Of course, your needs may vary, and you can consult with a hosting expert from Misterhost.NET here.
How good is Misterhost.NET’s customer support?
Misterhost.NET is not ranked as one of our top web hosts. But that can also be a result of Misterhost.NET being a small, under the radar, hosting provider. There are advantages to a small hosting company – as a customer, you are more important to them. You can also check out our comparison of the most popular web hosting services here.
