InterGate offers two Windows web hosting packages, two Linux web hosting packages, cloud VPS plans, and dedicated server solutions. All of InterGate’s hosting packages provide you with:
- 10 GB to 25 GB disk space
- Free traffic
- MySQL with phpMyAdmin
- PHP/Perl/CGI
- IMAP, POP3, and webmail
- Spam filter and antivirus
- 24/7 network and server monitoring
- Server backups
The statistics feature helps you identify key performance indicators and adapt accordingly, and the remote backup services help protect you against potential data disasters. You can schedule Cron jobs to run scripts periodically rather than having to execute them manually every time.
Pricing and Support
InterGate’s Linux hosting packages are affordably priced, but beware that the advertised monthly prices are based on a twelve-month commitment. A semi-annual plan will cost you 10% more, and biennial billing will afford you a 5% discount.
As far as I know, you can pay in Swedish krona only using Girocard or invoice. There are no money-back guarantees or trial periods, but they do offer a 14-day free trial for server monitoring and remote backup services.
Although you can purchase web hosting plans online, you’ll have to contact the company to get a quote for cloud VPS or dedicated servers. Contact can be made by telephone, fax (remember those?), email, or online contact form. My contact form submissions seemed to fall on deaf ears. For self-support, InterGate offers its support pages and invites you to contact the company if they don’t answer your questions.
