HostAdmit is fine, but fine is not good enough. While HostAdmit is a decent web host, you can get better quality hosting at a cheaper price with Hostinger, for example.
HostAdmit brands itself as one of the best and cheapest providers in the market. It offers web hosting, reseller hosting, domain registration, and website design services. It uses servers in numerous locations, including the United States, India, and Turkey to serve its customers. Its website is in English only.
Features and Ease of Use
HostAdmit offers three categories of shared hosting and one category of cloud hosting. Shared hosting servers are located in all of its data centers while the cloud hosting only deals with those in the U.S. and India.
Shared hosting customers are provided with the following:
- 99.99% uptime guarantee
- Automatic backups every five days
- From none to unlimited add-on domains, depending on the plan
- 1GB, 10GB, or unlimited storage space
- 10GB to unlimited bandwidth
On web hosting, HostAdmit provides Varnish Cache to accelerate the performance of websites. It caches your content and provides the cached content to your website visitors, ensuring that your website loading time is faster. This also allows you to use resources more efficiently because your server has less work to do as it is freed from the labor-intensive task of processing website content every time a visitor accesses your website.
I like that HostAdmit provides a one-click installation application to customers. With that, you can install CMSes like WordPress faster and without having to upload the installation file manually. However, be aware that it doesn’t offer a website builder, so if you’re a beginner, you’re better off with choosing a CMS to use.
Although shared hosting customers do not get a free domain, cloud hosting customers do. Another perk of the cloud hosting is that it uses a globally distributed content delivery network that speeds up your loading time because visitors get to see content from the server that’s closest to them.
Also, you don’t need to deal with upgrading hosting plans or downgrading every time you need more or less resources, because you can easily add more RAM and CPU from your backend.
Pricing and Support
HostAdmit offers shared hosting at low prices. It allows you to pay for three months of hosting at least, on most plans. Surprisingly, on the plans that this is allowed, paying for three months is cheaper than taking the one year plan.
It doesn’t offer a free SSL though, so if that’s a priority for you, you might have to look elsewhere. You won’t get a free domain on the shared hosting either; that’s reserved for cloud hosting customers.
HostAdmit has a 30-day money-back guarantee policy for web hosting, so if you aren’t satisfied with its hosting product, you can email customer support to get your refund.
You can contact customer support 24/7 through email, ticketing, and phone. The live chat is also available, but it is not active 24/7. I sent an offline message via the live chat and received a response shortly after.
For self-support, there’s a knowledge base with articles on setting up and managing your hosting and domain accounts.
