Madrid-based Spanish internet service provider Host-Fusion was established in 2001. Its Spanish-language website sells shared web hosting (including WordPress hosting), reseller hosting, cloud VPS, managed dedicated servers, domain registration and transfer, and web design services.
Features and Ease of Use
Host-Fusion offers four shared hosting plans, four elastic WordPress plans, three reseller hosting plans, four KVM cloud VPS plans, and three managed dedicated servers. The four SSD shared hosting plans — which are optimized for WordPress, Joomla, Prestashop, and Drupal — provide you with:
- IP and datacenter in Spain
- SpeedFusion technology
- CloudLinux + CageFS
- 1 GB to 10 GB SSD disk space
- 15 GB to 200 GB transfer
- PHP7 selector
- Free SSL Certificate
- Free Cloudflare CDN
- Configurable backup with one-click restoration
The Softaculous auto-installer allows you to install 200+ popular applications such as WordPress, PrestaShop, and Joomla, so you can easily set up a CMS-backed website. Once your website is up-and-running, you can enable the CDN from the cPanel control panel for faster page loading and protection against some kinds of cyber-attacks.
Other performance improvements come courtesy of the LiteSpeed web server with LSCache. Underlying this is SSD storage that is far faster and more reliable than traditional HDD storage. Other security measures include antivirus and a web application firewall. The Patchman Virtual Patch identifies and quarantines WordPress vulnerabilities in real time.
Pricing and Support
Host-Fusion offers pricey shared hosting plans that you can pay for annually in euros through bank transfer, PayPal, or credit/debit card. As far as I know, there is no money-back guarantee, but you can avail yourself of a free domain for the first year.
The only way to contact the support team is by submitting a ticket, but I was unable to summon a pre-sales support response this way. Self-support resources are not much better because the knowledge base contains only a handful of entries:
