HIT is a web hosting provider that offers domain registration, shared hosting, web design, web development, and web maintenance services. Its office is in Spain and its website is in Spanish.

Features and Ease of Use

hit features

HIT offers four WordPress plans called Size S, Size M, Size L, and Size XL. It also offers shared plans called Startup, Basic, Enterprise, and Professional. These plans come with the following features:

  • Daily automatic backups
  • Free SSL certificate
  • From 1GB to 20GB disk space
  • From 10GB to unlimited bandwidth

All plans are hosted on the Linux operating system and it employs the Nginx web server to process requests and serve content to visitors. It might not be as powerful as LiteSpeed, but it’s stable and widely trusted in the web hosting and development industry.

To accelerate performance, the vendor uses Intel Core processors along with up to 64GB RAM for shared hosting accounts. Sure, this is shared across all customers on the server, but it’s nice to know that it uses such a top-notch level.

Furthermore, HIT uses NVMe SSDs. These are way faster than the usual SSD and if you know about SSDs, you know they are fast.

HIT further protects clients’ data with RAID configuration.

For programming, HIT supports different versions of PHP. It also offers MySQL databases. However, there’s no support for Windows-based applications and as such, you won’t have support for ASP.NET or MSSQL.

HIT provides the Plesk control panel. Personally, I prefer it over cPanel, but it varies from user to user. Nevertheless, one thing is certain – Plesk is beginner-friendly. It supports the automatic installation of several web applications that will enable you to get a blog, discussion forum, framework, online store, or anything else that you may need with just a couple of clicks.

The WordPress plans come installed with and are highly optimized to run the WordPress CMS. They also come with Cron job scheduling to enable users to set up tasks that will run automatically at specific times.

HIT also offers clients a customized hosting package called Premium hosting. Here, you can customize the resources you require according to your website’s needs.

Pricing and Support

Frequently Asked Questions FAQ HIT Soluciones 850x435

When compared with the resources HIT offers, its prices are expensive. Even the Size S and Startup plans, which seem pocket-friendly, do not match the price offered in the market for similar resources.

Its billing cycles for shared plans are monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual, while the WordPress plans come with monthly and annual billing cycles only. It offers free domain registration to some extensions on the annual subscription.

Clients have the option to utilize PayPal as well as credit or debit cards for making payments. If clients are not satisfied, they retain the right to request a refund within 30 days of subscribing, and HIT will promptly initiate the refund process to return the funds.

HIT offers support in Spanish and can be reached via phone, email address, postal address, live chat, and online contact form. I sent an email, but never got a reply. It also has knowledge base support on its WHMCS page.
