Creed Hosting started operations in 2014, and now it powers the websites, blogs, and e-stores of 1500+ customers in 21 countries. Its key offerings include web hosting, email hosting, e-commerce hosting, CDN services, rental servers, domains, and VPS.
This host’s website looks good and loads pretty fast. However, some sections include irrelevant information while some pages are blank. It’s hard to tell if this provider is discontinuing some services or simply updating its website content.
Features and Ease of Use
When you sign up for Creed Hosting’s shared hosting plans, you get access to many features, including:
- Domains/subdomains
- Free DNS service
- Free email account
- SSL Certificates
- SSD storage
- 100% security
- 99.95% uptime guarantee.
Every shared account is fronted by the cPanel control panel that comes with the one-click Softaculous app installer which includes many free scripts. You also get MySQL databases, FTP accounts, and web-based emails with anti-spam protection. The hosting ecosystem includes the free and easy-to-deploy Cloudflare CDN that helps secure your site and speed up the loading of web pages.
Creed Hosting provides three options for creating your website: using the free web apps, ordering the user-friendly website builder with pre-built pages and customizable layouts, or programming with PHP, Perl, or another scripting language.
If you want to migrate your existing website, you can submit a request to the support team who will transfer your website the same day at no additional cost. Once your website is up and running, you can take advantage of the automated offsite backups with a full restore option.
Pricing and Support
Some hosting providers are notorious for overselling web space and charging setup fees, but this is not the case with Creed Hosting, which provides customers with unlimited disk space at fair prices. Options range from a one-month Basic plan (which you could use to test the waters) to a 12-month Business plan (which will unlock more SSD storage space for you to host up to 30 websites).
There’s no mention of any refund or money-back guarantee, and in fact, the refund policy page is blank.
Although CreedHosting claims to provide 24/7 support, I doubt that this is actually around-the-clock service since the live chat service was offline at the time of writing this review. Outside of working hours, you can raise a ticket with the expectation that you will receive a reply within 24 hours.
With an off-topic FAQ page, and a knowledge base that contains only four articles, self-support is not Creed Hosting’s strong point:
