Creattiva was established at the end of 1999. This Chilean company targets mainly the Latin American market with hosting, cloud, colocation, and datacenter solutions along with domain registration and SSL certificates. You can also get Google’s G Suite and Office 365 here.
Creattiva’s client portfolio exceeds 1,500 companies, and its data center manages more than 5,000 domains. Its website supports Spanish.
Features and Ease of Use
Creattiva offers a wide variety of hosting plans: seven SSD, six Windows, six Amazon Web Services (AWS), and four Linux reseller plans. It also offers several Linux/Windows virtual servers and HP/DELL dedicated servers. The Linux SSD hosting plans come with these features:
- cPanel control panel
- 1 GB to 20 GB SSD storage
- 5 GB to unlimited monthly transfers
- One to unlimited MySQL databases
- Antispam filter
Creattiva’s SSD hosting plans offer enhanced performance and reliability compared to traditional HDD hosting. With the CDN, your site gains increased security, and your content can be cached near your visitors, resulting in faster page loading speeds.
The AWS hosting plans offer extensive support for CMS software such as Joomla, WordPress, and Drupal. You won’t have any trouble scaling your operations with AWS, and you can take advantage of a range of programming languages and development stacks such as PHP, Java, Ruby, Node, LEMP, LAMP, and MEAN.
The VPS plans provide administrative root access for complete control of your server.
Pricing and Support
Creattiva’s SSD plans are competitively priced. You can pay for plans in Chilean pesos (CLP) on an annual, biennial, or triennial billing cycle by credit card (though WebPay) or by depositing money in the company’s bank account. There is no free trial period and no money-back guarantee as far as I can see.
Creattiva’s Windows hosting plans cost the same as the Linux hosting plans, which is somewhat unusual among hosting providers. However, the Windows plans provide half the storage capacity of the Linux counterparts.
24/7 support is available via live chat, telephone, email, or online contact form. Since I couldn’t contact the company via live chat, I sent a couple of queries via email… which received no replies. Anyone looking for self-support resources will find that the FAQ link leads back to the vendor’s home page, but the blog contains some useful (and recent) informative posts.
