You can choose the operating system of your choice, be it Linux, FreeBSD, or Windows.
It doesn’t offer backups, however, two copies of your data are stored for the sake of stability; that ensures that failure or loss of any other component doesn’t affect the performance of your website. Unfortunately, if you do need backups, you will have to purchase an additional server to save them.
The dedicated servers are not different in allowing customers to choose the features they want. Asides from that, ColoCall offers 26 plans for ready to use dedicated servers. Those already have the cores, RAM, and disk storage configured, but you get to choose the level of traffic you want.
Be aware that you will need technical knowledge to manage your servers as ColoCall doesn’t offer tools for beginners. For a small additional fee, though, you can get ISPmanager 5. That has its own advantages such as extensions for DDoS protection, CloudFlare, and Let’s Encrypt SSL.
Pricing and Support
The price of the ready to use dedicated server plans is cheaper than many similar offerings on the market. For the others (VPS, Dedicated), the ability to pick only what you need is a big plus because you can match your resources to your budget.
