Brazilian company ClimaHost has been providing internet solutions since 2011. Its Portuguese-language website sells shared hosting, WordPress hosting, virtual servers, dedicated servers, reseller hosting, cloud servers, domain services, and SSL certificates.
Features and Ease of Use
ClimaHost offers three WordPress-optimized shared hosting packages, three VPS packages, four dedicated server packages, three cloud server packages, and three Linux reseller hosting packages. That said, there are some discrepancies between what is advertised on the product pages and what is available in the cart.
The shared hosting packages provide you with:
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- 8 GB to 25 GB storage
- Unlimited traffic
- cPanel control panel
- Unlimited FTP accounts
- Unlimited databases
- One to unlimited email accounts
- POP3, IMAP, SMTP
- SpamAssassin
- Daily backups
The drag-and-drop interface of the free website builder enables you to create a professional-looking website easily, and you don’t need to be an expert to do it. Additionally, the product pages suggest a one-click installer, which typically lets you install a variety of popular CMS or other applications.
Other available services include SHOUTcast plans and a corporate email service.
VPS, cloud server, and VPS packages come with an SLA-backed 100% uptime guarantee.
Pricing and Support
ClimaHost’s shared hosting packages are cheap, and you can pay for them in Brazilian reals by bank slip, online transfer, or credit cards. Although monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual billing cycles are available, the lowest “Mega” package only allows annual billing.
I noticed some notable differences between some of the prices on the product pages and in the cart, which may be due to the cost of the cPanel control panel license.
ClimaHost’s 24/7 customer support team should be contactable by telephone, ticket system, email, WhatsApp, or live chat. I say “should” because my contact form submission went unanswered. If you have to resort to self-support, you’ll find a few frequently asked questions and not many entries in the knowledge base:
