Clever Host’s prices are in line when compared to that of its competitors. The two web hosting categories each have three plans, with the business web hosting plans more expensive than the personal web hosting plans. Additionally, the personal category also comes with various offers and discounts, such as each plan having a full two months free per year, while the business category doesn’t offer any discounts.
Sadly, Clever Host doesn’t offer free SSL certificates. However, you can buy one separately and get a free twelve month bonus.
The supported payment methods include bank transfers, debit/credit card payments, Bitcoin, and PayPal with monthly or yearly billing cycles.
Customer support channels include phone, live chat, email, tickets, and a support forum. I contacted the company via ticket support and as an international client, I was very impressed with the response time. It only took one hour for me to get a reply. The support agents are very courteous and will give you assistance in English if you prefer.
And while the website, primarily in Romanian, gives you the option to switch the language to English, it redirects to an unreachable URL. I suggest using Google Chrome for translations.
