Castris Technology is confusing. While this company’s URL matches the “Castris” name on its logo, its legal name is “Marco Antonio Mateos Sánchez”, and many of the web pages refer to the “Tamainut Team”.
Whatever the company is actually called, I can say pretty much for sure that it’s located in Spain. Its Spanish-language website sells shared hosting, managed and unmanaged VPS, backup services, and SSL certificates.
Features and Ease of Use
The three “flexible hosting plans” provide these features:
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Free SSL certificates
- Automatic backups
- 3 GB, 5 GB, or 10 GB disk space
- 20 GB to unlimited bandwidth
- Unlimited domains per account
The top two plans also provide unlimited MySQL databases and an unlimited number of email accounts, so these could be perfect for companies that require more resources.
The cPanel control panel allows you to manage your website files, databases, and other aspects of your hosting. The companion Softaculous and Installatron installers help you install popular content management and other applications with ease.
SSH access on the top two plans lets you access your hosting account remotely (and securely), and the free SSL certificates (with all packages) secure your website to give your customers confidence and help improve your search engine standing.
Hosted websites rely on NVMe SSD storage, which is much faster and more reliable than other kinds of storage.
Pricing and Support
The three hosting packages are affordable, and they get even more affordable if you sign up for a longer billing cycle. The available billing cycles are monthly, quarterly, annual, or biennial. You can cancel at any time for a refund of your remaining fees.
Pay by wire transfer, debit/credit card, or PayPal. Your service will be available within 24 hours, and if you have an existing host, this team will transfer your website for free.
Support can be summoned via telephone, email, or live chat, with a guaranteed response time of less than four hours for email. While my exploratory email received a response, it didn’t actually answer my questions:
