Founded in 2017, hosting provider Bullhost owns and operates its own data center in Europe. Its English-language website advertises virtual and dedicated servers.
Features and Ease of Use
Bullhost offers two types of VPS — Windows VPS, and Kali VPS — which come with:
- 99.8% uptime guarantee
- Between 20 GB and 60 GB storage
- Up to 10 GB RAM
Its Windows VPS allows you to choose the Windows version you want, or you can request a version that’s not listed. In common with the Windows VPS, the Kali Linux VPS is aimed particularly at professionals looking for penetration testing solutions, so you might want to look elsewhere if you want a simpler VPS. You’ll also need to look elsewhere if you want simple shared web hosting for small websites.
The SSD storage that underpins the virtual server solutions promises faster performance and greater reliability than traditional HDD storage.
Pricing and Support
Bullhost offers reasonably priced virtual servers, which are comparable to the dedicated servers provided by other vendors. You have the flexibility to make payments using PayPal, Perfect Money, or Bitcoin, with options for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual billing cycles. Once your payment is made, your VPS will be activated within ten minutes.
Bullhost doesn’t offer a lot of added value. You don’t get an SSL certificate, a domain, or any of the other perks you would get with shared hosting. Support also isn’t the best because there is no telephone number or live chat, so contact channels are limited to tickets, email, or an online form:
