Unlike most web hosting vendors in Bangladesh (who are resellers), BDHost Soft is a direct hosting provider. This vendor has been in operation for over six years and has served hundreds of clients to date. It offers domain registration, shared, reseller, and newspaper hosting in addition to other services like static and dynamic web design, SEO services, Facebook marketing, account software, and bulk SMS services.
Features and Ease of Use
Reseller hosting is common in Bangladesh, however, BDHost Soft was the first company to pioneer automated reseller solutions in the country. This speaks to its technical capability. Its system allows for full rebranding and gives complete control to its reseller partners. If you are a newbie in reseller hosting, BDHost Soft is the perfect place to start from since it will first offer you free demonstrations and training. The features offered under this service include:
- Unlimited cPanel accounts
- Softaculous app installer
- WHM Panel
- Free WHMCS
- Free domain reseller account
- White label hostname
- IP unblock option
BDHost Soft offers advanced and reliable shared hosting solutions with great features. It offers up to 10GB disc space, 100GB bandwidth, backups via cPremote, Softaculous installer, and user-friendly cPanel control panel. The company is excellent at keeping its hosted websites up and running with a 99.99% uptime guarantee across all of its hosting plans.
It also offers Newspaper hosting services, which in addition to the features offered under the Shared and Reseller hosting, also comes with unlimited MySQL databases, unlimited subdomains, unlimited email accounts, unlimited FTP accounts, CloudFlare DNS, and one-click installer.
Pricing and Support
BDHost Soft has four hosting plans across its services with its standard plan being the lowest and advanced pro the highest. In comparison to similarly priced plans in the web hosting market, the features offered are very minimal and limited. Despite its good prices, the 1GB disc space and 10GB bandwidth are low.
You can choose subscription-based plans with yearly billing cycles, which is very convenient compared to the monthly terms. However, the available payment options are limited to bank transfers.
The customer support system doesn’t appear to be a very good one; the live chat is frequently offline which makes it a little difficult to connect to the support team. However, they can be reached through email, phone number, and ticketing system.
I tested the ticket support and my experience was rather disappointing since all I got was a canned message which seems to have been an auto-response. This came in almost immediately after submitting my ticket and had a list of services to answer my inquiry and interest to know more about their shared hosting.
There’s also a knowledge base section (in a different portal), however, unfortunately, it has no articles in it.
