Artnet is a Polish provider of dedicated servers and colocation services that has been in business since 1996. It has its own data center, offices in multiple European locations, and a website which you can switch between the Russian, Polish, and English languages.
Features and Ease of Use
Artnet sells a range of enterprise-level hosting services that come with the following core features:
- 99.95% uptime SLA
- On-demand backups with allocated backup disk space
- SSL certificates available for purchase
- Up to 100 TB monthly traffic (with dedicated servers)
- Up to 1 TB storage (with dedicated servers)
- Up to 512 GB RAM (with dedicated servers)
Artnet owns and operates its own data center, which should mean faster response times to issues and less chance of resources being oversold. Since this is a Tier III data center, you can expect to experience less than 1.6 hours of downtime per year, and you get a 99.95% uptime SLA.
If you want to kick things off swiftly, Artnet has got you covered with 11 “Express Servers” offering lower resource allocations (up to 32 GB RAM) compared to their “Dedicated Server” range. But if you prefer taking it slow, go for a customizable dedicated server where you can set up the RAM, disk space, bandwidth, operating system, and more just the way you like it.
Pricing and Support
The prices are okay for an Eastern European provider; not cheap, but good value for a company with its own data center. You can purchase plans on one-, three-, six-, or twelve-month terms, but there are no discounts for longer commitments. As is often the case with enterprise-level hosts, SSL certificates cost extra.
Sales support is available during office hours, whereas technical support can be summoned 24/7 via email or telephone (including an emergency hotline). I was pleased to see a live chat facility, and was even more pleased when the live chat agent picked up immediately and answered my questions in English:
