InCorp’s LLC formation service isn’t bad per se. It gets the job done, but that’s about it. In a market filled with cheaper, more feature-packed, or more user-friendly services, it’s not enough to be worth your business. You can get far better service for a slightly larger investment with services like ZenBusiness.

A Long History in the Business, but It’s Failed to Keep Up With the Times
InCorp, and its Registered Agent services, has been around for a while. For any business in a fast-moving, ever-evolving industry that’s usually a good sign, if not a promise, of quality. To put it simply: a business can only stay alive for so many years through name recognition or quality, and InCorp is not a household name.
To know for certain if InCorp is still going strong, I conducted in-depth research into the company, its offering, its fine print, hundreds of past user reviews, and more. InCorp hasn’t kept in the race as much as it’s still limping behind services that offer far better value for your money, like ZenBusiness1.
InCorp isn’t terrible, but considering what other registration services offer nowadays, its offering is woefully outdated. So I also checked if it’s still worth your attention over the more modernized Limited Liability Company (LLC) registration services.
If you’re looking for an LLC registration service, I recommend you check out our expertly curated list of the best LLC registration services in 2025. Or keep reading to find out the exact reasons why I wouldn’t call InCorp a wise investment.
Keep in mind that this is a detailed review of InCorp’s complete registration services. From what I gather, if you’re looking solely for a Registered Agent service, InCorp’s overall value changes for the better.

Features
A Well-Rounded Set of Features, but Nothing Stands Out
InCorp’s feature offering isn’t flawed in the sense that it lacks anything essential. If all you’re looking for is a service that will help you register your LLC, then InCorp can deliver. The problem is that it doesn’t really offer much beyond the essential. InCorp offers registration options for LLCs, Limited Partnerships, Limited-Liability Partnerships, and non-profit and for-profit corporations. For each, you get the absolute basic features you need for successful registration, but not much else.
There’s no Operating Agreement drafting, no branding or accounting services, and no included business consultations (which have become somewhat of a staple of modern LLC formation services). For an extra fee, InCorp offers some nice-to-have features like corporate kits and stock certificates. Considering that it offers less on its only paid plan than other registration services do on their free plans though, InCorp’s feature offering is simply unimpressive.
Renowned Registered Agent Service
LLCs are legally required to appoint a Registered Agent at the moment of formation. Your Registered Agent will be your company’s local, legal representative and should be available at a fixed address during normal business hours year-round. In other words, it’s a full-time job. So unless you have full availability, and you’re sure that you will for as long as your LLC exists, naming yourself as your LLC’s Registered Agent is not a viable solution.
That’s where Registered Agent services come into play. Instead of hiring someone yourself to serve as your company’s legal liaison, a Registered Agent Service will appoint a professional Registered Agent for you and make sure they maintain compliance in exchange for a yearly fee.
I’m drawing special attention to this because InCorp’s Registered Agent services are the one area where it does shine. In fact, InCorp started offering Registered Agent services before it offered LLC registration. Most of its positive reviews across the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and other online forums revolve around its Registered Agent services.
Not only does InCorp’s Registered Agent Service boast very high quality, but it can come in at an affordable price per year. Overall, if you go with InCorp for your Registered Agent service, chances are you won’t be disappointed with the results.
Efficient Standard Filing Times
Though I should note that InCorp doesn’t name or promise any specific filing times with its LLC registration, there seems to be a consensus amongst past users and other expert reviewers that InCorp usually takes as little as one to two business days to file your documents with the Secretary of State.
Though that’s about as good as most expedited options for others, you should keep in mind that filing times aren’t the same thing as processing times. The latter is wholly dependent on the Secretary of State and usually consists of about one to three weeks.
Still, I should note once more that while InCorp’s typical filing times seem quite good, it doesn’t actually guarantee anything. That means that if, for whatever reason, your documents do take longer than a couple of days to file, there’s no system in place for you to complain or do anything about it but wait.
EIN Application and Yearly Report Services
If you’d like to hire any employees under your LLC or if you want to open a business bank account, you’ll need an Employer Identification Number (EIN). InCorp offers full EIN registration with its LLC formation process or separately.
Some states (like California, Texas, and Maryland) also require all LLCs registered there to fill out different kinds of yearly compliance reports. InCorp’s Managed Report Service takes these off your back and helps you maintain yearly compliance.
Once again, both services come at an extra fee (one-time with EIN application and a yearly one for the Managed Report Service). Though these features are appreciated, you can get the same results or even greater quality with other registration services. For example, Swyft Filings offers included EIN registration1 with its Standard package, while Northwest Registered Agent shows you a full list of required documents depending on your state at the moment of registration.
A Quality Selection of Corporate Kits to Round Out Your Business
For an extra fee, InCorp also sells a small selection of “corporate kits” as an add-on to its registration services or as a standout product. There are many LLC formation services that offer products labeled as “Corporate Kits,” even if what’s actually being offered changes from service to service.
In InCorp’s case, it means a high-quality leather attaché case for legal documents, a binder, and a legal embosser (at an extra price). These products might be very well made, but they’re ultimately inconsequential considering that other services offer far better features as paid extras, like ZenBusiness, which offers advanced financial tracking software with ZenBusiness’ Money Pro.
As a small sign of InCorp’s desperate need for an update, I should note that one of the main selling points for its “Prestige Legal Kit” is its inclusion of a “handy CD-ROM storage pocket.”

Ease of use
Not Impossible but Unremarkable
InCorp doesn’t make the LLC registration process impossible. In fact, I wouldn’t even say that it makes it comparable to just registering your LLC yourself. InCorp definitively simplifies the would-be complex process somewhat, just not enough to compare it to services like ZenBusiness or Swyft Filings, which truly take the burden off business owners’ backs.
If your only options are between registering your LLC yourself or going with InCorp, then InCorp would be a time and stress-saving choice. Luckily, though, those are far from your only choices.
Be advised: There is one aspect of InCorp services that seems overly complicated. On the BBB and other ratings sites, one of the most common complaints is trying to cancel InCorp’s services. A wide number of users cite repeated instances of contact with InCorp before being able to cancel their services for good.
If you decide to go with InCorp for your Registered Agent services or LLC formation and eventually want to cancel, make sure to receive a cancelation confirmation in writing and keep a close eye on your banking accounts for reoccurring fees.
Getting Started With InCorp
To get started with InCorp, all you have to do is go to its homepage, click on the Start a Business tab and select your state of LLC formation. After you’re redirected to the Form a USA LLC page, simply click on the Order Now button. You’ll be asked about your account information. Assuming you don’t already have an account with InCorp, you can choose to create one or simply go to the formation process directly.
After that, you’ll have to fill in your business entity name, state of registration (again), and entity type. Once that’s done, you’ll have to input a mailing address, and principal office, appoint a “principal,” and add your payment details. Then, you’ll go to the next page where you’ll be able to select any extras like Registered Agent services or Corporate Kits. Once that’s done, all that’s left to do is wait for InCorp to process your order and get in touch with you.
iOS App to Help You Keep Track of Business on the Go
InCorp offers an iOS app to help you track important business details on the go. Though the app itself isn’t much more than a scaled-down version of your online dashboard, it’s still a useful way to consult important information quickly if you ever need to.
That said, the app feels quite outdated. Though it does the work, it’s in dire need of a user interface (UI) redesign. Also, it’s only available for iOS systems, so Android owners won’t be able to enjoy its benefits.
Spanish Support Available
If you’re a native Spanish speaker, you’ll be pleased to know that InCorp offers Spanish-speaking customer support. That said, there’s no Spanish version of InCorp’s site or iOS app, nor does InCorp offer translated versions of its terms and conditions or other important documents. So for Spanish speakers, the availability of support in Spanish begins and ends with calls to the contact center.

Pricing
A Single Pricing Plan for LLC Registration and a Comprehensive Set of Paid Add-Ons
InCorp offers a single, one-time-payment plan for LLC registration. This simplicity has its pros and cons. On one hand, if you decide to go for InCorp, you won’t have to break your head to decide which plan you want. On the other hand, pricing gets more complicated if you need extra services.
InCorp’s only LLC formation plan offers less functionality than the free plans offered by competitors like ZenBusiness and Swyft Filings. That’s without taking the mandatory state filing fee. The would-be simplicity of InCorp’s single plan starts to look less appealing when you consider the variety of other services you might need.
At the end of the LLC registration process, InCorp will show you a list of potential add-ons for you to add to your bill. These add-ons include: a Registered Agent Service, a Special State Agency Registered Agent Service, the Managed Report Service, EIN filing, domestic mail forwarding, Certificate of Good Standing crafting, Corporate Kits, and the option for expedited shipping (not to be confused with expedited filing).
Considering that these are the kinds of features that other services include in their higher-tiered plans, InCorp’s one-plan model stops seeming really simple. What’s more, finding the prices of each of these services on InCorp’s site can get quite tricky, so if you were counting on getting an EIN, for example, you might not know what your total bill is going to be until the very last moment.

Support
InCorp Has a Long History of Very Flawed Customer Support
InCorp offers only two channels of customer support: phone and email tickets. Both channels are available in English and Spanish. From my personal experience, that’s about as much as I can tell you about InCorp’s support. This wasn’t due to a lack of due diligence though, rather, it was because even after two emails and calling on three separate occasions, I never received any sort of response from InCorp.
What’s more, every time I tried calling, I was put on hold for over 15 minutes and then hung up. No indication that there wasn’t going to be a response, no automatic voice telling me about unavailability, nothing.
In lieu of personal experience, all I can do is report on testimonials from previous customers. Overall, there seems to be a consensus that InCorp is vastly unresponsive, slow, and gives no indication of possible response times. The few testimonials that report (eventually) getting a response from InCorp claim that it was sufficient, though not excellent.
InCorp isn’t a terrible service. In fact, if you want LLC registration, it gets the job done. Considering its pricing, feature offering, and lack of substantial ease-of-use features, however, you could get a far better service with more modern, more complete services.
If you’re looking for a modern LLC formation service that can help you keep track of finances, important documents, and specific state-by-state requirements, you’d be far better off with a service like ZenBusiness.1

FAQ
Does InCorp offer a free plan?
No, InCorp offers only one plan for both its LLC formation services and Registered Agent services, neither of which is free. Though the standard plan for LLC registration seems affordable, you should really keep an eye out for last-minute upsells.
Does InCorp offer Registered Agent Services?
Yes. In fact, InCorp is much more widely renowned for its Registered Agent services than for its company formation. Though InCorp’s Registered Agent service seems quite high-quality, you should take the negative experiences of previous customers into account before making a decision.
What are InCorp’s filing times?
Though InCorp doesn’t officially state any filing times for its Limited Liability Company formation services, it usually takes about one or two business days. Though that seems quite speedy, you should really take InCorp’s full offering into account before making a decision.
What is the best LLC formation service?
The best formation service will depend almost completely on the needs of your needs and the needs of your business. If you want easy registration with useful accounting tools, ZenBusiness is a great offering. If you’re looking to establish a strong branding presence along with your LLC, then I’d recommend Tailor Brands.
