Péter Budai

Péter Budai is a computer science professional who currently serves as the Chief Product Officer at Tresorit. He initially joined the company in 2012 as a software engineer and has since played an integral role in the company’s product and development activities.

As CPO, Péter leads the team of 8 that oversees product management for large-scale feature development projects, from customer research and market analysis to concept creation and validation.

His team also coordinates with the engineering team throughout the development process to ensure that all requirements are met. With his extensive experience leading the crypto engineering team, Péter brings a unique perspective to the product development process, enabling Tresorit to create innovative, cutting-edge solutions for their clients.

Péter earned an MSc degree in Computer Science from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, which provided him with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in his career.

Throughout his time at Tresorit, he has demonstrated a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence, helping to drive the company’s success. In his free time he really likes long hiking trips over a few days, spending time with his family, and building small electronics projects.
