In this interview series by Website Planet, leaders from successful online companies reveal exactly the strategies, tools, and resources that helped them stand out and grow even in the most competitive markets. Each interview is a mini collection of tips proven by decades of experience and real data that you can apply immediately to any website at any stage of growth, and see quick results.
My guest today is Yulia Snitko, CEO at snig.digital, a digital studio specializing in storytelling, innovative UX/UI design, and bespoke technology solutions for startups, established brands, and enterprises worldwide. Their team of 10 experts has worked with over 100 clients globally, helping them achieve significant milestones such as multi-million dollar revenue growth and enhanced user engagement.
What unique approach, features, or capabilities make you stand out from the competition, and how exactly? Can you share metrics and examples that show the difference you’re making?
Our approach lies in combining deep research, creativity, and technology to deliver tailor-made digital experiences. For instance, we worked with ILNP Cosmetics to redesign their e-commerce platform. By optimizing user experience and implementing a custom design strategy, we helped them achieve an increase in conversion rates and a seven-figure revenue milestone.
Another example is our collaboration with Reply.io, where we revamped their website to improve functionality, user flow, and aesthetics. The redesign not only aligned with their brand vision but also resulted in an enhanced user experience and a 10% increase in conversion rates.

In 2024, we spearheaded the #BEHINDTHESEAMS campaign for GOTS, which was a resounding success. The campaign reached over 151 million impressions and engaged more than 70 million consumers globally. Why? It was cool, engaging and eye-catchy! Such marketing campaigns are definitely the best fit for us, as they need real creativity.
As well as projects for clients, we also do our own pet projects, where we want to highlight an interesting topic, spread awareness or just do a creative project. This was a website with a selection of authentic postcards, where users could not only design postcards from the past, but also share them with their loved ones.
The website received 40,000 visits from users.
What are the unexpected challenges your company has faced since its founding, and what are the most valuable lessons you have learned from these ups and downs?
We were founded in 2021, just a year before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and our biggest challenge has been operating during the ongoing war. The conflict has tested our resilience in many ways, from ensuring the safety of our team to maintaining seamless operations under uncertain conditions. A portion of our team now works abroad, allowing us to guarantee availability across diverse circumstances and time zones.
Additionally, during the global IT crisis, we experienced fluctuations in the number of projects—a true rollercoaster. However, thanks to prudent financial planning—like a squirrel saving for winter—we remained stable and prepared for growth.
The most valuable lesson we’ve learned is that adaptability, solidarity, and careful planning are essential for not just surviving but thriving in times of adversity.
What has been your most effective marketing channel so far, and why? Great if you can share one specific campaign or tactic that yielded great results.
Word of mouth remains our most effective channel, and we’re proud to share that 100% of our clients are willing to recommend us. Many potential clients discover us through the websites we’ve designed, where they notice our credit in the footer. Alongside referrals, we actively utilize LinkedIn, Awwwards, Upwork, and email outreach to broaden our reach.
We also increase our visibility by taking on pro-bono projects and developing pet projects, which showcase our expertise and values while engaging new audiences. This well-rounded, multi-channel strategy ensures a steady flow of high-quality leads, driven by trust, proven results, and the lasting impact of our work.
What are the emerging trends and challenges you plan on tackling next year? How exactly do you plan to do that?
We have noticed a clear trend among our clients: a strong focus on optimizing resources and reducing costs. To support this, we often use AI to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
The adoption of AI is rapidly increasing, as more products and services integrate it. However, it is essential to remember that even AI-powered solutions require careful design to ensure usability. We have successfully completed such projects and plan to highlight this expertise in our marketing efforts.
Optimization is always beneficial when it aligns with our clients’ strategic goals. We are committed to approaching optimization and innovation thoughtfully, ensuring that each solution we deliver is solid and well-founded.
Additionally, no-code platforms like Webflow are very effective for optimizing resources. As a certified Webflow partner since early 2025, we are dedicated to expanding our capabilities in this area to help our clients achieve their goals efficiently.
To wrap up, if you had to share one business tip that the rest of your industry disagrees with, what would it be?
Don’t always follow trends — lead them. Many in our industry rush to implement the latest tools and technologies without considering their long-term impact or alignment with their client’s vision. Instead, we focus on understanding our client’s unique story and audience first, then integrate tools that enhance—not dictate—the outcome. It’s better to innovate thoughtfully than to follow blindly.
A testament to this approach is our own website, which has been included in trends listings for the last three years. This recognition highlights our ability to set benchmarks and deliver work that resonates with both clients and broader industry standards.
With over 13 years of experience in SEO and managing content websites, he has coordinated over 5000 product reviews and interviews with the biggest names in eCommerce, web hosting, cybersecurity, SaaS, AI, and online marketing, to provide newbies and experts with untapped, actionable insights from the top experts in the industry on how to build and grow websites.
