Fingertip: The One-Link Solution for Running Your Business Online

Predrag Vlatkovic Written by:
Managing an online business can be overwhelming, especially for freelancers and small business owners juggling multiple platforms. Fingertip aims to change that with a simple, all-in-one solution. Co-founders Olly Hoffman and Matt Blode share how their platform empowers users to run their businesses effortlessly from a single link. Website Planet has the pleasure.

How and when was Fingertip founded, and with what goal in mind?

Fingertip really came to life between co-founders Olly, Gabby, and Hezi, in late 2022. We’d all spent a lot of time working with small businesses, freelancers, and creatives, and we kept seeing the same problem pop up: these people were running entire businesses from their phones—often through social media—but when it came to having a proper online presence, they either felt completely overwhelmed by the options out there or were put off by how expensive and complicated everything seemed.

In early 2023, Olly decided to take the leap and go full-time on Fingertip. We built out an MVP, just to test the waters, however, we knew we needed someone who was technical but also commercial, which led to Matt’s involvement as CTO. Later that year, Matt joined us as a co-founder after moving back to Australia from the US. He brought amazing energy and experience to the team, and together we started to really shape what Fingertip could be.

From day one, our goal has been to make things easier for people who are great at what they do—but maybe don’t have the time, budget, or tech know-how to manage all the behind-the-scenes stuff that comes with running a business. We wanted to build something simple, affordable, and flexible—something that would take care of the admin so people could focus on their actual work. The way we think about it is: if someone wants to sell products online, they go to Shopify. If someone wants to sell themselves—their skills, their services—we want them to go to Fingertip.

How does the one-link idea work in practice, and what specific features do you offer?

The one-link idea is pretty simple, but it solves a really big headache. At the heart of Fingertip is our website builder, and everything revolves around that. Once you create your Fingertip page, it becomes your one link that you can share everywhere—on Instagram, in your email signature, on business cards—wherever. And instead of sending people to different places for different things, it all happens right there on your Fingertip site.

From that one link, you can take bookings, send invoices, sell products, write blog posts, collect form responses, and more. It’s all connected, which means you don’t have to manage five different platforms to run your business. You can do it all from one place.

A lot of people compare Fingertip to a digital business card or a link-in-bio tool, and sure, it works for that. But what we’re really building is a complete home base for your business online—where your clients can book you, buy from you, and learn about what you do—all through one simple link.

You offer a playground for your clients to test Fingertip. Can you elaborate on that?

Yeah! So, pretty early on, we realised that once people actually used Fingertip, they got it. It’s one of those things where you can tell people all day how easy and intuitive it is, but until they play around with it, they don’t quite see how simple it can be.

That’s why we created what we call the “playground.” It’s a space where anyone can jump in and build a Fingertip page without needing to sign up or commit to anything. They can explore the drag-and-drop editor, test out features, and just see for themselves how it works. Once people experience it firsthand, they’re usually pretty excited to get started.

We didn’t want people to feel like they had to make a decision without knowing what they were getting into. The playground makes it easy to try before you buy—and it’s been really successful in helping people feel confident about coming on board.

What pricing plans do you have, and what are the differences between them?

We’ve kept our pricing really simple because that was one of the main issues we were trying to solve. A lot of the tools out there can get really expensive, especially if you’re piecing together different platforms to do different things. That can add up fast.

Fingertip starts with a free plan that lets you set up a basic page and get a feel for the platform. When you’re ready to unlock more features—like appointment scheduling, invoicing, and product sales—you can move to our Pro plan. That’s $16 a month if you pay annually or $20 if you prefer to go month-to-month. No lock-in contracts, no fuss.

We also introduced a Teams plan recently, which is around $40 a month. That’s great for people running businesses with a few team members—whether you need shared scheduling, multiple editors, or just a way for different people to manage different parts of the business on the same page.

The whole idea is to keep it affordable and give people the tools they need without overcomplicating things.

What’s next for Fingertip going forward? Any new features or projects we can look forward to?

Other than global domination, we’ve got a lot in the works! One thing we’re really focused on is making the onboarding experience even smoother. We want people to feel like they’re being guided through the process step-by-step, so they can go from signing up to being live and ready to go as quickly and easily as possible.

We’re also building more AI-driven features to help automate some of the things that can slow people down—like generating content or responding to client requests. It’s all about making it easier for our users to get things done without having to think too hard about the tech side of things.

And then there are some exciting partnerships on the horizon. We’re working with larger networks and organisations to offer Fingertip to their communities, and those collaborations are going to open up some really cool opportunities for us and our users.

But at the end of the day, our biggest priority is making sure our users are getting value from Fingertip. We want them to feel proud of their online presence, confident in how they run their businesses, and free to focus on what they love doing—whether that’s cutting hair in Australia, designing tattoos in the USA, personal training in Thailand, tutoring in the UK or anything else across the globe.
