How to Get Your Logo for $5
Not many things of value cost five dollars these days. Price is often linked to the quality of a product, so higher cost usually equals greater value. That isn’t always the case though – some things of value can be lower priced and great quality, you just need to know where to look. When it comes to logo design, the place that offers both quality and affordability is Fiverr. Fiverr is a freelance platform that lets designers price packages from just $5. The freelancers decide their own prices, but there are thousands of designers who offer their entry-level packages at this affordable rate. If you’d like to check out what types of designers may be available to design your G logo for you, head to the Fiverr homepage to get started and search for a designer. “G logo” is quite vague, so I’d recommend searching for terms like “letter logo”, “monogram logo”, or “initial logo”. Once your results pop up, take a quick scroll through to see if any match what you need. Find a profile that you like and click it to see more. Each designer’s profile contains their portfolio of previous work, customer reviews, and a full list of services they offer. Read their “About This Gig” to find out more or message them directly to get answers to any questions you may have. Once you’ve decided on a designer, the Continue button will take you to the payment preview page. Once you’re there, check the final costs and services in your selected package and click Order Now to move on. Enter your payment details to finish hiring the designer. After this step, your logo is fully commissioned! Just let your designer in on the vision for your new logo and soon it’ll be on its way to you. Using Fiverr comes with a few other perks, too, such as:- Fiverr Pro – Fiverr Pro designers have been personally assessed by Fiverr employees and have exceptional customer service and excellent design quality. These designers are a bit more expensive but worth hiring if your budget allows.
- Easy search options – With thousands of designers to comb through, wading through the results is made easier with search filters like budget, delivery time, and logo style.
- Package customizations – Some designers let you customize your package by adding services like expedited delivery and 3D mockups for a small fee.
- Protected payments – Payments are held safely by the platform until you’ve received a logo you’re happy with, after which they’re released to the designer.
How to Create Your Own Logo
If you’re feeling creative and want to give logo-making a try, the tool that will help you most is a DIY logo maker. Now, these online logo makers are not all the same. Before you waste time researching them all, I’ll let you in on my not-so-secret logo maker recommendation: Wix Logo Maker. This tool blows the others out of the water with its artificial intelligence (AI) technology that generates tailored logo suggestions that you can then edit to make perfect. To get started, go to the Wix Logo Maker homepage, and create a profile. Enter your company’s name and tagline to start the process. Select your industry from the menu. Knowing this helps the AI personalize your logo suggestions later. Next, choose words from the selection on offer that best describe how your finished logo should look and feel. Next up, is choosing between two logo pairs. This helps the AI learn your preferences in fonts and styles. Simply click on the logo in the pair that you like the best. If neither logo appeals to you, click I don’t like either of them. Finally, tell Wix Logo Maker where you’ll be using your logo, like on social media, merchandise, or a website. And now for the logo suggestions! Scroll through them carefully to see what styles the AI has generated for you. There are plenty to browse through, so click Load More to keep bringing up additional designs. Since your logo already has a focal point (the letter G), you can search for additional icons to add to the design by clicking Replace Icon. This option lets you search for relevant icons to your industry, like art icons, in my example. Clicking on the image you like best will add it to all the logo suggestions. After you’ve decided on a logo, click Customize to head to the logo editor. Now’s the time to have some fun and get creative. Play around with colors and shapes, and take your time deciding what font and size you’d like your letter icon to be. Add and remove image icons as needed to give your design some originality. When you’re happy with how it’s looking, click Next to choose your package, pay, and download your logo in a high-resolution format. Once you’ve downloaded your design, your new logo is ready to start using wherever you want!Wix Logo Maker Alternatives:
