What inspired the founding of FMO Media and what is its primary mission?
Four best friends, Ace and Jamie, Mel and Christian, saw a need in their community to help businesses in the hospitality industry grow and flourish. The two couples met together in Ace and Jamie’s attic and brainstormed FMO Media into existence.
They used their sales and marketing prowess to establish FMO Media as the digital marketing agency that our clients could rely on because of the great relationships we built early on by collaborating with them and understanding the nuances of their industries.
We’re all very grateful for their vision and strong foundation that established our company from those humble beginnings so we could scale and continue to grow and adapt over the years.
And we have grown! Within the first two years, we started bringing additional talent onto our team, expanding beyond New York to serve clients nationwide and supporting clients in a wider base of professional services including legal, medical, and real estate industries. Our founders set the tone in seeking out continued knowledge and insight from other industry professionals.
Over the last few years, we’ve benefited from Gary Vee and his team’s mentorship of our leadership team. They helped us with our organizational structure, content strategy guidance, and our own brand positioning as we navigated the initial steps toward scaling the agency.

Yes, the great thing about our system and strategy is that all of our clients have the potential to improve their online presence after going through our launch process; no matter which package they sign up for with us.
We set them up for success from the beginning in our onboarding and strategy build. The clients that collaborate and work with us as a team see the greatest success because they realize the need to invest in marketing to support their business. One of our most notable success stories is our work with Silvercreek Realty Group, Idaho’s #1 real estate brokerage. They faced significant challenges with their marketing efforts, particularly in streamlining their recruitment processes and providing ongoing support for their growing network of agents. Their existing setup, which relied heavily on a single graphic designer, was no longer sufficient to meet their dynamic needs.
We stepped in with a comprehensive strategy that significantly transformed Silvercreek’s online presence. We refreshed their brand across all social platforms, ensuring a cohesive and modern aesthetic that resonated with both agents and clients.
They also signed up for our Instant Social Platform, we built them their own white-labeled version, through which we empowered thousands of their real estate agents with customizable monthly social media content, video editing tools, and an interactive content calendar, enabling them to maintain a consistent and professional online presence.
The results were impressive: LinkedIn followers increased by 29%, Instagram by 27.6%, and Facebook by 22.6%, with engagement and impressions seeing similar growth. Beyond these numbers, the Instant Social Platform played a crucial role in securing a new preferred lender partner, leading to a renegotiation that saved Silvercreek Realty $300,000 in just the first year of our partnership.

How does FMO Media stay ahead of digital marketing trends and ensure effective results?
This is a great question because it’s so easy to get overwhelmed by trends, new updates, and social media shifts. Certainly daunting if you are a single marketer trying to keep up with it all. That’s why it’s important for us to carve out time as a team and for individuals to learn and research.
We have a wonderful content strategist, Marybeth, who researches trends weekly using sources like Google Trends, current news and events, focused TikTok Trends searches, and identifying what our client’s audiences want to know in order to guide our team and keep our content strategies fresh. We also stay sharp with regular training.
Our fabulous team of editors, for example, has a weekly meeting where they gather and share updates on content trends, new editing techniques, or workshop ideas. We like to use our own socials as a testing ground to see what works and has potential for our client’s content.
What new projects or initiatives is FMO Media excited to introduce?
We’ve recently revamped our
Instant-SocialVideo.com platform so we can support and offer content creators, entrepreneurs, business owners – anyone creating content, the option to send us their videos for speedy and customized editing. It’s a game changer for those who are more heavily involved or managing their own marketing and simply need editing support or aren’t ready yet to invest fully in marketing but know they need to start creating and sharing content. We have a team of highly skilled editors who manage the service.
We also continue to leverage AI and automation technology for both client and internal use. It allows us to eliminate some of the tedious admin tasks and frees up our time to focus on the fun aspects of content creation, social media management, and relationship building with our clients and team. We have a few new projects in the pipeline we can’t share just yet but (hint) we’ll be “chatting” about it soon!
