What specific gaps in your industry sparked the idea for your company? Can you share that story with us?
I came from a healthcare background, which exposed me to the highs and lows of the practice at a young age. I may have gone different routes during the earlier years of my career, going in business, finance, and tech. Still, every skill I earned from those experiences led me back to this industry which I have significant care and passion for. Me and my co-founder David Pene and I had a completely different idea for Carepatron back when we were still starting. We developed a tool for healthcare practitioners, yes, but as we rolled out the platform to our target users, we learned that there’s so much to fill when it comes to their actual needs versus what we perceived were needed by our projected clientele. The constant feedback loop we receive from our initial users became vital in creating the healthcare practice management platform Carepatron has transformed into today. Pinpointing specific gaps in the healthcare industry will take us forever so I will just say this: healthcare is something universal to everyone and yet its still inaccessible to a large sum of people in a multitude of ways — this is what we are trying to solve. By empowering healthcare practitioners to focus less on administrative duties and more on actual patient care, we can make a seemingly massive hurdle become more conquerable.Fast forward, what results make you most proud so far? Can you share metrics and stories that show the difference you’re making?
Through our healthcare practice management software, practitioners save two to four hours on back-office tasks. This allows them to spend more time improving their practice and better connecting and engaging with patients. Additionally, we’ve seen significant growth in our global reach. We recently started localizing our platform to serve a number of languages, ensuring that we are working towards the goal of making healthcare a more democratic and accessible experience. And of course, I have to note our internal growth as well. The Carepatron team has significantly grown over the past year, with team members becoming even more diverse than ever. We believe in fostering talent regardless of location, allowing us to have a more global and inclusive perspective not just on day-to-day operations but also on the bigger goals we strive in reaching. I’m incredibly proud of the tangible impact Carepatron has made in healthcare. What are the things you wish someone told you when you first started? Why are they crucial and what made you realize that?
As I’ve mentioned earlier, when we were starting out, we immediately plunged into this dynamic work culture where feedback and constant innovation was – and still is — our norm. Hence, there can’t be a lot of ‘what ifs’ when it comes to Carepatron because, if we receive a suggestion, we immediately try it out and see results for ourselves, be that better or worse. Every opportunity is a lesson to be learned and we practice that not just within the management team but with every team member. It has worked wonders for us so far and we couldn’t be any happier. This approach has fueled consistent growth—not only in revenue but also in expanding our internal workforce and strengthening relationships with clients and partners. We’ve built a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and innovation without falling into the trap of a hectic, hustle-centric mindset. It’s about working smarter, not harder, and that’s been key to our success so far.🚀 Since 2021, Carepatron has saved over 15 million hours of work for 10K clients across 50+ countries.
