Meet Bulk Buy Hosting: PBN Hosting & Management From One Platform

Bethenny Carl Written by:
Website Planet had the chance to sit down and chat with Kevin Graham, Founder of Bulk Buy Hosting. We looked closely at the features that make them stand out as a PBN hosting provider, and what opportunities he sees in the future of the web hosting industry.

What types of packages do you currently offer to PBN owners?

We offer a full suite of different services to PBN owners. We initially started with our PBN Hosting service in 2015. Later on, we’ve added PBN Builds, which offers a full WordPress site rebuild and most recently added the ability to browse 23,000+ domains available for purchase, which makes it a full end-to-end solution – buy a domain with existing backlinks, host it safely with unique IPs from different providers on a single bill and single point of contact for support, and have our team rebuild it as a new WordPress site.

How does your mission differ from the competition?

Bulk Buy Hosting was designed to replicate the safest way of hosting your PBN, which is on premium cPanel shared hosting providers, without the hassle or expense of managing hundreds of hosting accounts with different providers.

Your sites are hosted with different premium hosting providers, but you manage everything, including payments, from Bulk Buy Hosting’s dashboard. This way you keep your sites on servers with a good reputation and avoid footprints that can raise a red flag for Google, resulting in your sites getting deindexed.

Since we launched with Bulk Buy Hosting in 2015, we’ve grown out a full suite of hosting services under Site Arrow, and are on a mission to become the world’s most helpful web hosting company.

Who are your target customers, and what problems do they have when they come to you?

Our target customers are SEO professionals, whether they’re solopreneurs, agencies or media publishing teams.

We work with customers across a wide range of different monetisation strategies, including “rank and rent” lead generation services, affiliate marketers building content sites to promote offers, or SEO agencies that are improving the rankings of their client’s web sites.

What is the number one thing that sets you apart from your competitors?

I started Bulk Buy Hosting in 2015, after experiencing the pain of managing my PBN across hundreds of providers.

I built it using the safest method of hosting your PBN – hosting accounts on popular shared hosting providers with IPs that have hundreds or even thousands of other sites on them, which aren’t Bulk Buy Hosting’s customers. This way, your PBN sites blend in with other “real” sites.

The other solution that existed uses VPS servers from DigitalOcean, AWS, Rackspace, IBM Cloud and Media Temple. As a result, all of the sites on those IP addresses are other PBN sites that are hosted on their service and it would be very easy for Google to deinedex all of those sites.

How do you ensure scalability for those clients that experience sudden traffic growth?

Within the Site Arrow family of brands, we have a range of different hosting services. If a site outgrows the shared hosting accounts on Bulk Buy Hosting, we can quickly and easily migrate them across to WP Bolt, our WordPress VPS Hosting platform or even a managed dedicated server from Domain Name Sanity.

How do you handle technical issues, server maintenance and upgrades without causing significant downtime?

Because Bulk Buy Hosting uses reseller hosting accounts from large providers, all of the technical issues including server maintenance and upgrades are taken care of by the provider’s server management teams.

Our providers will notify us in the event of either a server upgrade/move, or if there’s a hardware failure and we’ll notify our users on the impacted server.

What challenges and opportunities do you see in the future of your industry?

The latest developments in AI are very interesting in terms of how we might be able to deliver even faster than our ~15 minute average 24×7 response time to customer requests, although a vast majority of our tickets require an experienced server admin to investigate and fix the issues with a customer’s site.
