I instantly liked the look of Carrd as soon as I opened the homepage. There was something about it that made me feel like I was about to create something really hip and trendy. While I did find Carrd simple to navigate, and my one-page site came out looking both stylish and professional, it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Blogger is a free platform that offers enough basic features to create a simple blog. However, being a basic tool designed for a single purpose, Blogger can’t contend with today’s website builders. For example, Wix offers a blogging platform that includes tools to grow your reader base and develop your blog into an expanded website.

Weblium

Weblium is a beginner-friendly website builder with a drag-and-drop editor to help you build a professional-looking website. It's designed for teamwork, so if you choose a paid plan, you and your teammates can simultaneously work on different parts of the site. The free plan offers unlimited storage, and enough features to enable you to create a fully functional website.

readymag

The Readymag website builder has a drag-and-drop editor and offers a few interesting features, such as the ability to animate elements. However, you will need to watch ALL the tutorials, and read ALL the help guides to figure out how to achieve your goals.

Pinegrow

Buyer Beware - Pinegrow isn't very user friendly. If you’re like me and don't have a degree in coding, you'll probably have a tough time. You’ll also need to download the software onto your computer in order to start building your site.
