Wix Launches AI Text Creator That Can Write Website Content

Leading website builder Wix announced it is integrating an AI Text Creator into its Wix Editor. The tool will allow Wix users to generate high-quality content tailored to their website. The feature will be gradually rolled out in English, but Wix promises wider availability in the future.

Users can access the AI Text Creator through the Wix Editor. It employs OpenAI’s GPT-3 large language model to generate human-like text.

“Our deep understanding of website content like the right text length, important information to highlight and the proper tone, paired with GPT-3, provides users with unmatched text quality, which is key to having a professional website,” Oded Nachshon, Head of Wix Editor & Chairman of Wix Editor Platform and Wix Media, explained.

Wix controls the AI Text Creator’s function by asking the user a series of questions that act as prompts. These questions might include – but aren’t limited to – the type of content and tone of writing that the user wants to convey.

After it receives relevant information, the AI Text Creator can generate content that adheres to the best web content creation practices in seconds. These include personalized titles, taglines, paragraphs, and other types of text. The tool is designed to minimize the time needed to create and maintain professional-looking websites and maximize content quality.

The AI Text Creator is another innovative feature in Wix’s robust toolkit, although it’s not Wix’s first dive into AI. Its Wix Artificial Design Intelligence (ADI) can create an original, fully-functional site in minutes based on relevant information provided by the user.
